This is a 2007 Contura G2 which has recently undergone a full refurbishment within our ZEISS facility in Rugby. This included: • Mechanical refurbishment -A comprehensive assessment and service of the CMM mechanics including any necessary adjustment and/ or replacement of components. • Latest active scanning probe head - As part of this the CMM has received a newly refurbished ZEISS XT VAST active scanning probe head. • Controller upgrade - The latest version 10 C99 type machine controller was installed and configured for this machine, in order to future proof the system. • Latest firmware – as part of the refurbishment the machines firmware was upgraded to the latest version to ensure the CMM is running optimality and compatible for the future. • Latest workstation – A new HP performance windows 10 workstation, including keyboard, mouse and 27” HP Screen. • Latest measuring software – The latest ZEISS Calypso version 6.8 basic software is included. Additional modules can be added for an additional cost. • Fully optimised and calibrated - In addition, the CMM’s error map was re generated using specialist laser equipment and a full ISO 10360 calibration. To ensure the CMM is measuring correctly. This brings the CMM up to the latest specification possible and ensure the CMM is ready for many more years of measurement. In order to provide a comprehensive solution to the successful buyer in addition to the refurbished CMM this sale also includes the following: • De-commissioning -The necessary packing, de-commissioning, transport to ensure the CMM is packed correctly for safe transportation. (Transport materials must be returned to Carl Zeiss Rugby at buyers expenses) • Onsite installation (UK & Ireland only)-Once the CMM has arrived at the customers site, installation will be provided by a member of our ZEISS team. This will ensure the CMM is correctly installed, setup and calibrated to ISO 10360. Customer responsible to ensure installation site meets requirements as listed within the attached installation instructions, and access is available to install the system. If we required, we can perform a site survey to advise. • Comprehensive 12 month warranty (UK & Ireland only) - For complete peace of the mind the CMM is offered with a ZEISS 12 month warranty from the date of delivery. Transportation to the customers site and lifting services are not included but can be arranged through an approved ZEISS business partner if required, at an additional cost. Please note this machine type is currently in our guaranteed support phase of support. This means that while this CMM version is no longer available for global sale as a new product, at ZEISS we will guarantee our ability to support this machine. This phase typically runs for at least 10 to 15 years before we would enter our best effort phase of support. At the time of listing we do not have a best effort phase of support planned or the horizon.
